Along time ago, in a country far, far away (from most people) a budding young DJ bought his first set of Soundlab decks. Trickster2d slowly rose in the ranks and after a chance meeting through a friend, met up and toured the world with rock band Zerotonin as a turntablist. This led to many opportunities for him including several stints in recording studios. This is were he got the bug and learned as much as he could about recording and engineering during these sessions.
He later left the band and set up a small recording studio were he recorded some bands from the greater Belfast area. Not content for too long out of the live circuit, Trickster2d then teamed up with a few guys to form 'The Doctors in Session', a three piece acoustic hip hop band. This led to the full engineering and production of the album 'Thrice Nightly' which sold very well at the gigs we would take part in.
Trickster2d went on to release his own material under the guise 'MrTheBigMan' (and still does). This led to the release of 'You're Mine' which saw his foray into the world of dance and glitch music. During this period Trickster2d continued to allow his studio to grow but also to refine it so he would have all of the tools available to create new records. Later, Trickster2d released 'Memoirs' across all of the major download sites and created his first mix in 8 years to promote the release.
Unhappy with the fact he was unable to get any major recognition from records labels mostly due to the current climate, he set up his on record label called 'MTBM.NET', using his other guise as the name for the label. He signed several deals with major distributors and is currently selling his records through this medium today.
