Busy is a word that I have been using throughout my holidays but I have managed to get quite a lot done over the last wee while:
1. New Album
I noticed yesterday that I can add only one more track to the album as it stands before I reach the 70min mark that most cdr's are aimed at. The album will feature ten tracks now, one of which I am currently completing and it should be ready for the release fairly shortly. Then I have to do the marketing after that for it going out to the general public on the 31st August 2010.
2. The Punch Up Pilot
Slight name change here but the music is rocking and being recorded as I speak. We have the main tracks down for guides and the bass track is down on the first demo. More info soon.
3. E|Drums Vol2
I have been doing a lot of thinking about this recently and have decided to split it down into several sections as follows:
- Kitchen Sink - Quite literally the kitchen sink!
- Foley - Anything that can be hit with a drum stick will be recorded for the pack
- Samples - Kicks, snares, Toms and Hi hats aplenty
- Acoustic Snare - I found one in the house and I will be sampling every part of it to provide the best in acoustic snare samples
- Layered - All the sounds layered and effected to provide the punchiest drum sounds available
I am planning to provide these samples as .wav, Reason Refill, Ultrabeat and ESX24 along with a few others. I plan to release this at the end of September.
Now onto finishing the website for everyone to see and then on with the marketing!!!
