Korg NTS-4 Compact Mixer Kit Previewed At Superbooth 2026

At Superbooth 2026, Korg shared a sneak preview of their NTS-4 Mixer kit, the newest member of their nu:tekt line.

The Korg NTS-4 is a compact analog mixer that packs a lot of capability into a small package, including  2 mono and 4 stereo analog inputs.

Korg has not made any official announcement about the NTS-4 yet, but you can get an overview on it from this video, via Andertons, starting at about 2:47 in.

Like the other NTS devices, the Korg NTS-4 will be sold as a kit that you assemble yourself, using basic tools. The circuit board is pre-assembled.

Features (Unoffficial):

  • 4 x stereo + 2 x mono Eurorack-compatible level inputs (3.5mm)
  • Dual-channel effects processor
  • Per-channel level, send, pan (for mono channels), cue & mute
  • Master level, cue balance & USB audio level
  • Main stereo output
  • Headphone output with volume control
  • USB Audio & MIDI
  • MIDI OUT (3.5mm TRS)

It’s not clear yet whether this will support custom ‘logue effects, but – if it does – it would be a killer feature.

Pricing and Availability:

Details on pricing and availability are to be announced at the Korg site.

  1. ‘It’s not clear yet whether this will support custom ‘logue effects, but – if it does – it would be a killer feature.” – it doesn’t…. yet. perhaps with enough interest it could though. make some noise. NTS-(n) isn’t logue by default.

  2. I will compare the price of this one to the Lifeforms System Interface by Pittsburgh Modular that I use in one case. Depending on the price – it might be worth it to upgrade for me, since I will regain some HP and gain more effects. I am not in dire need of effects, but having them integrated and depending on quality, they might bring unexpected seismic shift in mentioned case. :]

  3. I hope this one doesn’t suffer from fragile input/output jacks, like the rest of the NTS line – wouldn’t want that on a mixer, where cables are more frequently connected and disconnected.

    1. this is a very unrevealing image. look at one which shows 1/4 inch panel mounted jack with fasteners, although it’s still PCB mounted. google image will show you better.

  4. Ever notice how manufacturers release just small increments of hardware instead of what they are capable of (with easily scalable gear once the R&D is done)?
    I’m not talking about firmware.

  5. @John. Dude, no attack, but it’s just a mixer. Just commenting because you’re a regular here, and you don’t seem to be an idiot.
Whoever needed MIDI in a mixer? Surely any MIDI duty would be done before bus stage?

    1. if you were referring to me: i am not advocating for a MIDI in a mixer. i don’t even use a computer for music, only coding plugins. whatever gave you that idea? i’m advocating for user effects, to write plugins for my own custom uses, and sinevibes does some very nice low resource effects

and if you weren’t, oh well.
