Videos for beginners, such as this one, use jargon a beginner may not understand. True beginners need every term, no matter how obvious it is to us, explained.
Like menus.
What terms does this video not explain?
This video is great and super helpful! I was wondering if you could do something similar with samplers?
If you want to learn how to use a synthesizer, watch this:

And if you want to know how to “shape” i.e. to “create” a sound, watch this:

The 3 main components of a “subtractive” synthesizer are:
1. The Oscillator.
2. The Filter.
3. The Amplifier (which is an Envelope).
There are the main components for “MAKING” a sound.
But in order to CREATE, i.e to “shape” a sound, you have to understand and learn what “MODULATION” is.
Without being able to effective modulate use your sounds, all your sound will sound almost the same !!
