Granular synthesis is a technique where audio gets sliced into tiny fragments (5–100 milliseconds) and then scattered, pitch-shifted, reversed, and layered back together to create completely new sounds.
It’s completely free, and lets you play and record directly from your browser. Everything runs on your machine, so nothing gets uploaded and no account is needed. You can record the output and download it as a WAV.

Had a play and quite nice. Missing the grain envelope which is a shame as it makes the output more glitchy than it should be.
