Erica Synths has announced the availability of Xenodrive, a stereo distortion/overdrive/waveshaper FX unit, developed in collaboration with 112db.
Featuring 12 parameters for detailed sound design, save/recall functions for all parameters, MIDI control over all parameters and an aluminum case, the Xenodrive is designed to “elevate the user’s sound in any live show, studio or sonic experiment.”

Looks great and sounds cool, although I would rather save 50 bucks and it not have the MIDI functionality….but maybe that is just me and not the broader market.

What?? Noooo 🙂 I’d gladly pay $50 for any machine to have MIDI and presets/recall. I’d actually gladly pay $100 and also add some CVs in.
CV would have been pretty awesome. I guess the expression pedal input would get fried if you connect a CV to it

I love boxes like this but it seems wild to me that with all these features it doesn’t have compressor sidechain. Love my boum for this. I didn’t expect the MIDI SC to work as well as it does but it’s great, I just leave it configured to watch the velocity on my kick channel and I don’t have to think about it. Wonder if they could add it in a patch.
Also to kick my dead horse, Erica, come on. Open-source the LXR2 ffs. The current firmware is scraping bare minimum.

so how does changing presets work – knobs at different values to preset ?
