You have it backwards. The 2016 Moog Minimoog reissue was the first to feature the independent lfo knob above the pitch and mod wheel.

The Behringer Poly D came out in 2019.

There’s a reason the previous one had it’s price dropped by $2500… https://www.synthtopia.com/content/2025/11/02/geddy-lee-minimoog-price-slashed-2500/

I contained myself commenting on a previous post but this is shameless to tribute a man while changing his work.

I used the XY pad on the Z1 to control Volcas LFO and filter by CC like this and friends and people online insulted my use of a volca even tho it performed better than vintage because of that CC option. A legacy company that can’t help but lie and upgrade to copy the ‘shameless copy’ company as people accuse Behringer of being . . it’s just so funny to me lol. I love what they represented perhaps 30 or 70 years ago but I’ll never buy a Moog product at this point honestly. Pathetic.

In this case, I want to keep this one. That classic “Moogy sound” just can’t be replicated entirely. I have two software recreations and the both sound pretty damn’d good but, as good as they are, they still aren’t the real thing with real knobs, switches, and those hardware electronic circuits.
