In celebration of the debut of Stranger Things Season 5 – the final season of Netflix’s retro sci fi hit – Foggy Mountain Spaceship shared this banjo synth cover of the now-classic Stranger Things Theme.

Stranger Things originally debuted in 2016, and features an electronic score by composers Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein. The score takes inspiration from the synth-heavy ’80s soundtracks of John Carpenter, Tangerine Dream and others.

The performance is played on the BanjoSynth Model 1 (BS-1), an original design created by Kyle Ussery in 2024.
