Kiviak WoFi LE Focuses On Real-Time Sampling, Chopping, & Sequencing

Kiviak Instruments has introduced WoFi LE, a compact performance sampler that retains the WoFi’s real-time sampling and sequencing workflow, while moving to a pad-based interface with simplified hardware design.

It retains the core workflow of the original WoFi, while shifting to a more compact, pad-based layout rather than a keyboard interface.

The instrument is built around immediate sampling operations, allowing users to record audio, chop material, and integrate it directly into running sequences without stopping playback. It also supports cue point navigation for moving through sample regions during performance and includes a revision system for recalling alternate variations of sounds and sequences.

Storage is handled via microSD, and WiFi connectivity integrates with the myWoFi ecosystem for sample transfer and sharing.

Features:

  • The WoFi LE uses a pad-based rubber keypad interface that functions as both a performance surface and a sequencing input system
  • The instrument supports real-time recording, chopping, and integration of samples directly into an active sequence without stopping playback
  • Cue point navigation allows instant jumping between different regions within a sample during performance
  • A revision mode enables recall of alternate versions of sounds and sequences for performance variation
  • Sample storage is handled via a microSD card slot
  • WiFi connectivity provides integration with the myWoFi cloud system for sample transfer and sharing

Pricing & Availability:

The WoFi LE will be available at the end of 2026 or early 2027 at $349/€299.
