Composer & developer Christian Halten lets us know that he’s released a free sample pack of percussion sounds taken from the MS 2600 NG Synthesizer on the SampleRobot website.

The MS 2600 NG is a synthesizer, designed by by Matthias Beese, based on the classic ARP 2600 architecture, but with additional features that extend its sonic capabilities.

The set contains 66 custom-designed patches in wave format, 44.1 kHz 24 bit mono, sampled by SampleRobot.

If you are an owner of SampleRobot, you can download the project file and export the drum map for your favorite hardware and software instrument. Otherwise, you can download the wave files.
