But, why would Casio fly all the way to the United States to a US trade show to show it off? They’re probably testing the waters and looking at the response before committing deeply since they’re an international company and providing the sampler globally is a bigger challenge they want to be sure of.

“They are releasing it in the USA… ”

That’s not what Casio was saying at the NAMM Show. They told me that they had no idea if this was going to be released in the US. It seemed like they had it at the show to gauge interest. My source on that was Rich Formidonni, who’s one of their product specialists.

They are releasing it in the USA… it’s just a prototype right now. It’s also not out in Japan yet either, because it’s a prototype.

Let’s now see if casio will get addicted to format like the volcas and pocket operator, or even the liven/sonicware series.

I keep seeing music companies including gamer d pads, this one is at the top. Hopefully indicating hey its meant to be played.
