Behringer today shared this video intro for the BM-12 Ring Modulator, a knockoff of the classic Moog Moogerfooger MF-102 Ring Modulator.
The company first introduced the idea that they planned to copy the entire Moogerfooger line back in 2023, when they teased four ‘Boogerfooger’ pedals. These included:
- The Behringer BM-101 Low Pass Filter copies the Moog MF-101 Lowpass Filter.
- The Behringer BM-103 Phaser copies the Moog MF-103 12-Stage Phaser.
- The Behringer AD-104 Analog Delay copies the Moog MF-104M Analog Delay.
- The Behringer BM-107 Frequency Box copies the Moog MF-107 Freqbox.
Since then, they’ve introduced unofficial copies of the MF-105S MuRF, and now the MF-102S Ring Modulator.
Behringer says that the BM-12 copies “a classic 2000s-era pedal known for its wild, unworldly tones. With extensive I/O, detailed controls, and a vibrant preamp that stays active even when bypassed, BM-12 offers powerful sound-shaping versatility—essentially two pedals in one.”
Details on pricing and availability are to be announced.

Should be cool for synthesists on a budget.
I wish they maintained the knob layout of the original moogerfoogers. this was probably a trade dress thing, but it results in an uglier product
looking forward to the entire line getting cloned. moog were fools to stop producing these things, they’re swiss army knives of function for all kinds of musicians
