Frostmod Audio shared this quick video demo of Riffline, a four-voice synth plugin for the Korg Drumlogue.
Riffline is a four-voice, single-oscillator supersaw type synthesizer plugin in Logue SDK 2.0 format. It features ADHR amp and mod envelopes, switchable 2-pole hi/lo-pass filter and an LFO per voice.
For the video, all synth sounds come from the plugin.
Pricing and Availability:
Riffline is available now, using a pay-what-you-like model.
Even after the blowout sale price of $264 on Reverb, nobody cared. They messed up by making it $599 in the first place!
I tried buying it for cheap on Reverb but they wouldnt ship to Puerto Rico. If Reverb understood (so it is embedded in their system) the amount of business this island offers (something Amazon does and is building their second warehouse as well as Sweetwater) they would spend a few hours setting this up. Yes, there are many that go thru Reverb as it is but it aint straight forward.
Electribe 3 please and thank you
This!
Please make a new modern Electribe Korg.
Unfortunately, if they did they’d probably find some way of Korging up like they did with this Dumlougue.
Heck yeah!!!! I bought one with the Reverb blowout sale and got an extra $50 off and paid only $214 for one. And I’ve been surprisingly happy with it since. I assumed any further development was dead in the water, but this is good news…
Drumlogue needs help from a Digitakt to get the groove train rolling.
Wow, wish I knew about that sale, I seem to miss every Korg blowout sale….is there any current Korg synth on blowout?
This plugin is awesome, but it also seems like it comes too late for the Drumlogue, since they’ve already started blowing it out.
Korg’s Multi-Engine is, in my opinion, the most interesting feature of the Drumlogue, the Prologue, the Minilogue XD and the NTS-1 thing.
I’ve got a Prologue and love the Multi-Engine, because I was able to find some cool user oscilators and effects plug-ins that really open up what you can do with the synth.
I’ve never had a synth with this ability. It’s such a cool feature that I picked up a used XD, too.
But it seems like Korg missed the mark in promoting this feature, because it everybody is discovering how cool it is AFTER Korg has discontinued the instrument or is blowing it out.
Many times the community creates amazing thing after a device is out of production. If more people just on programming stuff for its engine, then it could start picking up traction. I’ve seen more than a few times gear not selling well. Then someone doing something cool and then everyone suddenly wants it. Just never know…
