Developer Cristián Vogel of NeverEngineLabs has introduced WaveKitchen, a new macOS application that’s designed to help users of wavetable synths create great-sounding tables.
Wavetables created in WaveKitchen can be used in Bitwig, SurgeXT, Waldorf, Kyma, Max, Ableton and other synths.
WaveKitchen lets you choose from a wide array of signal generators, blend in your own audio, or import other wavetables to refine or transform into something new.
The application also automatically renders native Finder icons for every waveform you create. Each wavetable becomes a visually clear, easy-to-recognize resource.
Pricing and Availability:
WaveKitchen is available now for $40 USD.
See the NeverEngineLabs site for details.

I’m more excited for the Leviasynth from ASM that will be announced at NAMM.
WaveKitchen looks really awesome for those of us who like to DIY wavetables. But since you insist on going off-topic:
Glen Darcey’s comment about [Leviasynth] on FB: “The synth community rumor mill is pretty funny. We registered a couple of names we thought we might use on future things. Of course the internet being the internet, nothing turns into something and then the feedback loop grows.”
Despite Glen’s cranky comment of some time ago, I do hope it’s true. Would love a refined ASM instrument with the same hardware build quality and design philosophy with a much improved synth engine, especially those mediocre filters. Give me one AMAZING digital filter built to work with your oscillators instead of a dozen quite poor emulations.
I like the filters on the Hydrasynth a lot. It’s up to you how you configure your modulation pathways to bring out whatever oscillator/distortion characteristics you want to highlight. Certainly you can point to filters that are all sweet spot as soon as you switch a synth on, but then you end up with something that always sounds kinda the same – kinda the blessing and curse of Roland synths.
Ever heard of the bean soup theory, my dude?
Sure, but how ’bout that vaporware Leviasynth?!?!?

Mac Only ? Next !
Cristián, the developer here. Thanks to Synthtopia for featuring WaveKitchen! Just wanted to say that it has recently received a major update, with many new features, including smart single cycle extraction and support for Waldorf WTB, as well as pre-morphed multicycle WAVs of common frame lengths.
A few people have written to me asking if it is compatible with specific gear and synths. Now, there’s a LOT of stuff out there, and no real standard – as a solo dev I cannot *conclusively* test them all! So I hope the following info might help you decide. I am offering to implement requested specialised formats for people who request them.
Alongside simple single-cycle export, WaveKitchen also exports multicycle formats with user selectable frame sizes of 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096 and selectable morph stages (that is, how many steps of that frame size to export). The basic PCM format is 44.1, 16bit, mono WAV and special container formats for .WT ( Bitwig, SurgeXT ) and .WTB ( Waldorf ) are currently also provided.
looks like a really cool product! cant wait to test it out!
This looks really useful, been meaning to look for something like this to make single cycle wavs for my old Electribe SX (for some reason I suck at making smooth looping, easily tuned waves).
