its the same as someone who has never eaten an apple asking “what does an apple taste like?”…. Well.. It tastes like an apple“ you coukd say its sweet its sour its yummy etc, just like any other fruit…. But if you want to know what an apple tastes like.. You have to eat one yourself… You cant just take someones word for it and say you” know” when you are absolutely clueless

Finally TE compete in a market where 1.2k$ for a mic is considered “basic”

Are you seriously gonna think a TE mic with built in pre amp will be better than using a 1073 with decent mic? May I remind you that TE never produced a single mic or pre amp before while the 1073 has been used on the most iconic albums ever created.

Honestly, it’s like these people are just jobs all the jobs in the overflowing “do what you like, make what you want” category on indeed.

If you don’t like it don’t buy it, you stick your nose where you don’t have to and declare it rubs your face…

If you “work so hard to actually make something” you have a crappy job. I admire their attitude.

1k$ is not that much for this kind of mic, including a pre, converter and audio interface (but so does a 50$ usb condenser)
A high quality large condenser microphone usually costs more than a small one from the same brand so this is a legit argument, the only thing is with this kind of pricing they are usually not made in china…

It seems they are doing a great job with pricing
