Developer Elton Glover let us know that Otter Mods has introduced four new Moog Format modules.
The modules follow the modern ‘Dotcom’ take on Moog format, so they adhere to Moog Unit sizing and follow the Synthesizers.com MTA power standard. They are sold as DIY kits.
The new modules are MU versions of previously introduced Eurorack modules, including:
- Subdivide Mk2 – 5U / DotCom Large Format – $129.00
Subdivide Mk2 is a clock divider module with multiple outputs per division, and each output is LED backlit for visual timing reference. - Triquetra – 5U / DotCom Large Format – $195.00
Triquetra is a flexible shift-register module that allows the user to choose individual loops, output levels, gate settings, and bit-generating algorithms for each of the three registers for a powerful source of modulation and sequencing in your rack. - Octet Itero – 5U / DotCom Large Format – $245.00
Octet Itero gives you the ability to create a unique CV Sequence up to 8 steps, with corresponding Triggers, Gates, and four different choices for CV output. - OTTeR – 5U / DotCom Large Format – $275.00
- OTTeR gives you the ability to add some organized randomness to your patch. Dial in the three different dividers to generate different 8-step patterns.
Glover says that he’ll be adding the new modules to Modular Grid soon, and hopes to have demo videos for each module (in both format) within a month or so.
Details on all modules are available at the Otter Mods shop.
So much wasted module space
Must mean something for you to comment. This is cool as fuck. Fresh builder in 5U.
I’m not saying the module is bad. Just that… why not add some more controls or utilities instead of empty space on the panel? :/
Create your own version if it bothers you
There is great joy in size. I’m a 4U person and I enjoy the space in that format. The OP hasn’t checked out the manufacturer website and seen these are available in Europe too.
BiTCH ANGER ?
