Buchla and Tiptop Audio have announced that the 230t Triple Envelope Follower is now available to order.
The module features three envelope followers, with 0–10V CV outs and adjustable triggers/gates with pulse response control.
Here’s what they have to say about it:
“While the first thought with an envelope follower is often running external audio through it, Don’s notes hint at using internal modular sources as well.
This module adds a new CV generator to the system, this time generated by audio magnitude. In true Buchla fashion: think unorthodoxly, and you can discover fascinating patches with the 230t.”
Toptop Audio has also introduced the Mantis 200t – Special Edition, with wood finish.
This Mantis case is hand-finished in a highly durable automotive grade, varnished-wood pattern film, that they say is designed to complement the vintage look of the 200t modules.
Tiptop has been using these with their demo systems, and now they are making the design available to everyone.
They say that “it’s the same Mantis you know, same mechanics, same electronics, works with all our brackets, but with a classic touch.”

Tiptop also says that development of the 248t MARF module is progressing.
“The 248t MARF project has advanced into secod-stage prototyping. At this stage, the core hardware and functionality have been defined, and our focus has shifted toward performance optimization.
Looking ahead, the next milestone will be beta testing, where we will validate the system in real-world conditions. If progress continues as planned, we anticipate the 248t could be ready as early as 2026.”
