  1. A bit off topic, but it almost feels like a trend. There’s these new products coming out like this, and the sequencer from Stylophone, which make a product demonstration video, but it seems like there’s no budget left for that. They’re filmed with obscure and probably outdated cameras, the videos are obviously noisy, Stylophone video was even AI enchanced, meaning you couldn’t read what’s written on the unit. Weird times, but it’s hard to trust a company that puts out little effort.

    1. I have a iConnectMIDI4+ that was released from them in 2016 which still works excellent with my M1 MBP and standalone. The amount of midi routing/rerouting, filtering, and configuration capabilities are kind of overwhelming on it. Handles MIDI DIN and USB MIDI with a hub just fine (which will accept up to 8 USB MIDI devices). Haven’t tried the RTP MIDI yet though.

  2. I wish they would release a Dante version of the smaller PlayAUDIO1U. We don’t need 24 analog channels or the inputs, but a sleek 16 channel Dante unit would be brilliant for shows where we have digital FOH.

These boxes are absolutely unbeatable if you’re running Ableton with a pair of redundant Macs.
