Ok for people who can’t actually dj and don’t want to learn. Make something substantial without the daft jog wheels …. Stand alone hardware for eg. Machine for creative dj style performance rather than studio not tethered to a laptop. Maybe.

Seems NI looked everywhere and without knowing where to start to fix their mess, simply went “back to its roots” and rehashed their old Z1 and X1 controllers which sold very well back then. Problem is this aint 2013 anymore, their brand is in tatters, other companies have filled their position and people seems not trust nor care anymore.
Selling this thing along the similarly featured but way better looking S2 MK3 (which came out in 2018) for 100 quid less is going to confuse their targeted entry level audience into getting an EOL product.
NI needs a good product program manager.

Looks hideous and cheap if I seen a DJ at a party using that I’d think they bought it from a toy shop. Fkn disgusting there midi keyboards are great why does there DJ gear look so cheap and nasty ???
